Mt. Hood Snowboarding

Dan and I started snowboarding while in college and it has been an activity we enjoy to do together when we get the chance. We wanted to get away and asked my sister to watch the kids.
She said no problem so we dropped the kids off and had some fun snowboarding at Mt. Hood. 

I had never been there before and it turned out
to be a beautiful day to snowboard.
Clear skies and the snow was nice and soft.

It had been over seven years since I had gone snowboarding so I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. I couldn't wait to go but had hoped I didn't forget how to ride. I am happy to say, I managed to get of the lift with out falling, that was the first obstacle. Next going down the hill with out falling, and I managed to do that too. Dan was patient and stayed with me until I got the hang of it, but then he wanted to have fun going of jumps as we went down the hill. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to have the time to spend together.

After a fun filled weekend of snowboarding we had to stop and get some BBQ before we picked up the kids.
We stopped at Buster's and it hit the spot.

 It was a great weekend and we can't wait to be able to go again.
